MOBILE SETUP
The D-Sys mobile multi-track recording system is based on a critically chosen selection of industry standard microphones. The mics can be connected to a stage box (if required this can be up to 50 meters away from the reqording equipment.
The microphones are fed into an analogue mixing desk, to allow for any tonal correction, compression, noise gating or foldback. Valve pre-amps are also available on two channels.
Individual direct channel outputs from the mixing desk are coupled to state-of-the-art, external analogue to digital converters, which then feed discrete tracks of the multi-track digital recording system.
A CD (in audio, data or mixed-mode format) containing mixdowns of the recording session will usually be available at the end of the session.
STEREO LOCATION SETUP
A pair of the most appropriate microphones for the sound source are used.
The mics are usually coupled directly to a digital tape recorder to allow for the utmost portability, the complete system being completly independant (battery powered) if required.
The recording is usually digitally transferred to CD (in audio, data or mixed-mode format) at a later date and forwarded.
